He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Earlene Biesemeyer; and his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Emily Frank. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Monte Shinkle, the Rev. Richard Frank, and David Jolly officiating. Aaron was a 2001 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School. He lived in Columbia while attending the University of Missouri – Columbia, graduating in 2006.
Aaron had been a kitchen manager at Macaroni Grill in South County, St. Louis for the past 5 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Martinsburg.
Aaron’s commitment and love for life was with his daughter, Hadleigh. Some of his favorite things to do were to go canoeing, camping and fishing. Aaron also liked hunting, primarily deer and most recently duck. He enjoyed gardening and was a great cook, often using food out of his garden to make his tasteful creations. He was also a member of The Leisure Army, an infrastructure crew in the Burning Man group, Midwest burners.
Aaron is survived by his five year old daughter, Hadleigh Rose Frank, of St. Louis; mother and step-father, Caroline and Bob Nation, of Wellsville; grandparents, Norman and Bernice Loebs, of Florissant; sisters, Amy Caroline “Frankie” Ersfeld and husband, Mark, of Evanston, Illinois and Katie Marie Swaim and husband, Josh, of Martinsburg; brother, Karl Austin Frank, of Chicago, Illinois; step brothers and sisters, Jeremy and Jana Nation, of St. Charles, Emily Nation, of Columbia, Kelsey and Brittani Nation, of Houston, Texas, Stacey Nation and Billy Pacult, Dustin Nation, Eric Nation and Casey Nation, all of Mukilteo, Washington and Tammy Nation, of Wellsville; nieces and nephews, Ember Leeann Medack and Bodin August James Ersfeld, both of Evanston, Illinois, Haydon August Swaim, of Martinsburg and Rebekkah Ti Nation, of Houston, Texas; in addition to several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest August “Ernie” Frank, Jr. and grandparents, Ernest August Sr. and Emily Margaret Frank.
