Whereas the above named parties intend to be united in the bond of matrimony, they have agreed that the said Augustine Geidel party of the second part . . .and reliquishes all her dower rights and claims in the real and personal estate of her future husband ... the intended marriage whatever name they may have and under .... they may allowed by law and that she receive instead and in full discharge of all her claim of dower for the support during the time of her natural life the use and enjoiyment of all the real and personal estate possessed and siezed by this her intend husband at the time of his death after paying all his just debts with the understanding and obligation to keep and support with this property the surviving children of this her future husband party of the first part as long as they are under age and to leave all this property real or personal thus received to the surviving children of said Peter Bopp without any dimiution in substance or value, common ware and tear and accidents excepted when she dies as to the heirs and owners at the time of the death of said Peter Bopp signed the year and date above mentioned.6

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Christian Volk, pastor of the Freunds Gemeint. The pallbearers were Caspar Dressel, William Bierman, George Roeder, George Greb, Henry Ku8hl and William Koch.
Mr. Bopp was born in Germany in 1812 and came to America in 1852, living first in St. Louis and later moving to St. Louis County. He is survived by his sons, Andrew, Sebastian, Henry, Valentine, Peter and Theodore and his daughter, Catherine

Helen died on November 25, 1995 at Frene Valley Health Center in Herman, Franklin County, Missouri, at age 92.1 Her obituary stated:

--dear mother-in-law of Linda D. Bopp and Phillip H. Miller Jr,

--dear sister-in-law of Mildred Bopp Humes,
--dear sister of the late Pearl W. Jacaty and Arnold J. Willmann,
--dear great grandmother of seven, dear aunt, great aunt, and cousin.

Funeral at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood MO. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirkwood MO. Mrs. Bopp was past president of Better Gardens Club of St Louis, former member of 20th Century Art Club, and past member Boeard of Directors Mary Culver Home.

Memorial may be made to Mary Culver Home, 2321 W Washington Ave, Kirkwood MO or Frene Valley Healthcare Center, Hermann MO.
