Pierce, Claire H., peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2003, four days short of his 101st birthday; beloved father of Priscilla (Pep) Tomasovic and father-in-law of John L. Tomasovic, Sr; grandfather of John Jr. (Beth), Susan (Kurt) McClellan; great-grandfather of Elizabeth, John, Priscilla, Christopher and Krista.
A memorial service was held at Fairhaven Residential Home in Whitewater, Wisconsin; with burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Those wishing to make contributions may do so in the name of the deceased to the World Bird Sanctuary, 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, St. Louis, MO 63088
