The Smith's had resided in the St. Louis area for many years, moving to Albuquerque, N. M. in 1956. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: daughter-and son-in-law, Sherry and Larry Schilling of Shawano, with whom she made her home for many years; granddaughter, Dr. Kristy Schilling (Dr. Phillip) Yee of Shawano; grandson, Brian Schilling of Shawano; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Carina Yee; sisters Vida (Pete) Semmler, Shirley (Joe) Gardner; brother, Roswell "Brod" (Colleen) Laumand, all of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Smith, on Aug. 10,1968. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Ehrlich and a brother, Robert Laumand.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Interment I will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in St. Louis. Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano is in charge of arrangements.

She was buried in August, 2001 in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri.2
