Rites Saturday for Mrs. Bock
Linn- Mrs. Henrietta Bock, 73, of Rich Fountain, died at a rest home at 9 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of more than two years.
Mrs. Bock was born April 13, 1892, at Rich Fountain, daughter of John and Mary Kremer Porting.
She was married to John Bock on Oct. 25, 1916, who survives. She lived her entire life near Rich Fountain.
Other survivors include: two sons, Herbert Bock of the home and Walter Bock of Linn; three brothers, Peter Porting and Hugo Porting of Axtel, Kan., and Theodore Porting of Linn, three sisters, Mrs. Louise Lock of Loose Creek; Mrs. Betty Balkenbusch of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Eleanor ( Matt) Obermark of Linn; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 111 a.m. Saturday, at the Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Msgr. Bernard Tinpe officiating. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at a Linn Funeral home.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
