This document states that her son, Frank Schaffer was deeded 200 acres of the farm on which they live, by Anna Schaffer. Questions arise about the her other children's share. Includes two requests from Anna through the County Clerk as to the status of her claim. Also included are estimates of the farm's value if sold or rented.
Records from the St. Louis Agency and the Topeka Agency show that no payments were made. However, in her deposition on this date, Anna states that she received her pension until she remarried, to John Schaffer.9
Anna Fick The Renewal of Anna's Pension commenced June 28, 1912, at $12.00 per month. on October 7, 1913.9
Anna died on December 31, 1913 at Washington Township in Missouri at age 83, John B. Schaffer was the informant on her death certificate.2
Anna's son, Frank Schaffer, applied for reimbursement from the accrued pension for expenses paid in Anna's last sickness and her burial. He received the acrued pension of $23.20 on March 18, 1914.9 Her cause of death was Acute indigestion and gastroenteritis with chronic valvular heart disease.2 Anna Fick was buried on January 3, 1914 in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Rich Fountain, Osage County, Missouri.23
