Mr. Mushrush was born Aug. 13, 1947, in Jefferson City, the son of William F. and Lois Ponder Mushrush, who survive at 1105 St. Mary's Blvd. On Jan. 15, 1968, he was married in Peru, Ind., to the former Mary Evelyn Hough, who survives at the home.
He was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson City Senior High School. He had served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Vietnam from January, 1968 to January, 1969.
He was a member of the Roy Sone Rost 1003, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the local No. 217, American Federation of Musicians.
He was employed as a driver's examiner for the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Other survivors include: one son William Patrick Mushrush, of the home; one daughter, Vicky Dawn Mushrush, of the home; and one sister, Miss Jean Marie Mushrush, 1105 St. Mary's Blvd.
The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. today in the Freeman Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Services will be a 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Roy Sone Post 1003, VFW.
